A fantastic waffle press! By J. Thompson
This waffle iron is great, and I've had several different brands/models so I speak from past experience (I make waffles at least twice a week). It heats up quickly and the controls are very logical. The darkness adjustment has a very nice range - from VERY light to quite dark. If your waffle recipe has no sugar at all, I suggest adding just a tad to aid browning. Without sugar, it is difficult for proper caramelization to occur.
This waffler has great audible signals, so you can make waffles while you're walking around the kitchen doing other stuff - there's no need to watch for a light to turn off. That is a feature I especially enjoy, because it's quite boring to sit and watch a waffle maker cook or wait for it to heat up. I whip up my waffle batter and start making waffles while I'm preparing the rest of breakfast. When I hear a beep, I turn around, pull the waffle out, add more batter, and go back to what I was doing.See all 31 customer reviews...
